Regional Business Partners Network Support

The Regional Business Partner Network (RBPN) is a business support service jointly funded by NZTE and Callaghan Innovation. The RBP network has two funds operating currently and each fund serves a different purpose:

  • The COVID-19 Business Advisory fund provides expert advisory services for businesses impacted through the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The Management capability development fund is to support management training services which build business owner capability.

Covid-19 Business Advisory Fund

Small and medium sized businesses may qualify for funding to help pay for advisory services to support them through the Covid-19 outbreak up to $5000 excl. GST.
The Covid-19 Business Advisory Funding can provide support in areas such as HR, health and wellbeing, business continuity, cashflow and finance management, marketing and digital enablement strategy.

Have a New Zealand Business Number (NZBN)

Be privately owned or a Maori Trust under the Te Tire Whenua Maori Act 1993 or similar organisation managing Maori assets under multiple ownership

Be GST registered in New Zealand

Have undergone Discover Session with a RBP Growth Advisor

Management Capability Development Voucher Fund

Small businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for services such as training workshops, courses and coaching that build the management capabilities of their owners and key managers. Vouchers may be provided to a business where the Growth Advisors have identified a need for management training as part of an action plan to support the business owner to grow and innovate their business. Vouchers can be used to cover up to 50% of the training costs, capped at $5000 + GST per annum.
